Stupidest song ever...

Pink has a new song called "U and Ur hand".

It's basically about how she doesn't want anyone to talk to her or try to buy her drinks and how she would just prefer the money....

It's stuff like this and those Fergie songs that encourage bad female behavior. There should be universal standards of behavior and not being blatently rude when someone is talking to you should be one of them. It is flattering to be hit on no matter what and women should be reprimanded for being rude. Even when the guy is creepy.

UGH I'm annoyed....

Here's the retarded lyrics...

U + Ur Hand lyrics

Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh
Check it out
Going out
On the late night
Looking tight
Feeling nice
It's a **** fight
I can tell
I just know
That it's going down
Tonight
At the door we don't wait cause we know them
At the bar six shots just beginning
That's when dick head put his hands on me
But you see

I'm not here for your entertainment
You don't really want to mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight

Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh

Midnight
I'm drunk
I don't give a ***k
Wanna dance
By myself
Guess you're outta luck
Don't touch
Back up
I'm not the one
Buh bye
Listen up it's just not happening
You can say what you want to your boyfriends
Just let me have my fun tonight
Aiight

I'm not here for your entertainment
You don't really want to mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight

Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh
Break break
Break it down

In the corner with your boys you bet up five bucks
To get at the girl that just walked in but she thinks you suck
We didn't get all dressed up just for you to see
So quit spilling your drinks on me yeah

You know who you are
High fivin, talkin ****, but you're going home alone arentcha?

Cause I'm not here for your entertainment
No
You don't really want to mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
Just stop and take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
Cause you know it's over
Know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight
It's just you and your hand

I'm not here for your entertainment
No no no
You don't really want to mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
Just take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight
Yeah oh

What's worst about this is that Pink actually always seemed like the type of girl I like, until now...

  1. Ok. First, love the blog, and I hear you do good shit in this community. If I ever get the money together for a bc, I'm taking one of yours. Really.

Etc, etc, etc. *** pseudo hero worship done after this point***

This kind of song just makes our lives easier, IMO. I agree that anyone, male or female, should use standard good manners when talking to *anyone*, be they male or female, hot or creepy. That's just being a good person.

But. If women want to emulate this attitude, good for them. "I'm so pretty, I've got VIP, guys buy me drinks yeah!" Yay. I'm not buying them drinks. They're buying *me* drinks.

"I was fine before you walked into my life / Cause you know it's over / Before it began"

Good. Because that's blowing out all the lovable losers out there. Solid game means she really WANTS to take you home that night. And it's 'her idea'. Ideally, she's gaming you. Not the other way around.

    At least, in her world.

Let her blow out anyone who has no idea. It just makes my life easier.

I never thought she was attractive, so if an UG wants to sing this song to make herself feel better, well more power to her.

I do think if you don't violate any social standards that people should be polite.

Wouldnt she be fun to meet in a bar :-) Its a shame though that young girls are growing up with this stupid mindset that because they have a pussy they somehow have a superior self worth. Although I have to agree it can make it easier for me, its frustrating that people need to be trained even to have a polite convorsation.

hmm... actually I liked the song as it describes what woman go through with all the annoying dudes hitting on them.

Its fun to go out with a bunch of woman and see whats going on from their side of view; guys came up all night and either offered to buy drinks or asking them to dance. It really forced them to make a decission right then and there, if they would like to date that guy. Even more annoying are the guys that just stand around watching us dance (predator style), trying to figure out which of the girls might be single and then home in on them once they have a clear shot at her.

Most girls I talked to made the experience that telling a guy to go away does not work as he will either not get the hint, tries to logically convince her that he's a nice guy or starts bitching/insulting her. However, if you tell him to fuck off, then he leaves with no further discussion. I'm not a big friend of the current state of female behavior here (Denver, CO), but there are good reasons things are the way they are. And good reasons why opinion openers work for me most of the time ...

I'm sure someone else must've written that song for her.

You seen her without makeup btw? Not impressive. She used to be my kinda gal too (she would kick my ass, I would fuck hers) :))

  7. The thing I love most about Pink is her sweet, sweet muffin top of a gut that hangs over the top of her low rise track pants.

I actually thought the song was meant to be funny, but after I realized who sung it, I discovered that it was actually a sad ballad about the delusional world that she lives in where guys would actually approach her.

i wouldn't even think of linking the lyrics to the person pink as an individual in any way! she's just a commercialized celeb having to have successful albums out there every once in a while! so the management's trying to come across topics noone ever did before. that's it!
if you break this down more scientifically....that song with its lyrics is succesful because of the exact same cultural phenomenon that makes "how 2 b a pua bootcamps" that successful. it's the lack of guys approaching in the right way. and girls being annoyed of getting approached somehow "wrong" open up way more easy for us, aren't they? after a dozen afc's has hit on some hb a night, she's is so thankful that i'm making her part of my great, adventurous life!
so, you actually have to thank pink for holding up such a wrong social frame and making our stuff work more solidly! i profit from this song! i gets me laid more often...

  9. Noticed earlier that you put down some time on music lyrics. If you would like some tips for great new music check out my blog. Liked the song you recommended earlier.

Thanks for a great blog man!

    Wow Sinn,
You managed to get yourself into one of Pink's Songs. Dude Sarge on!

    Just business, I think.

Pink also sang "stupid girl" - one of the more positive messages about women's behavioral habits.
so now she sings a song that has popular appeal. people relate to it - its a hit - it makes money.

This is a paradoxical post, Sinn. on the one hand you talk about being courteous regardless of the stimulus, on the other, your judging this girl quite negatively for the lyrics of her song.

    cheers,
    Sting

  12. Ah, that song is so full of contradictions. If a quality girl was actually going to subscribe to such messed up logic, then she wouldn't be a quality girl.

Stuff like this just helps weed out the strong girls from the weak ones.

    Ahhhh....just wait.

    After 30....EVERYTHING changes for
    these women.

She has power NOW. Go on a dating site, and you can smell the desperation of post 30 women.

That attitude isn't for men; it's purely to impress her audience of 14 year old girls who are scared to death of boys and want to identify with one who pretends to look down on them.

Pink, like every other chick in the world, spends plenty of nights home alone with a pint of Ben & Jerry's thinking she's too ugly and fat to get a really good guy.
