Thundercat's Review of Episode 2 of The PUA

This review is Hysterical...

Review

I agree with a ton of what TC is saying here, there's even a bit of an inside joke that used to run around TMM back in the day.

If you're smart you'll figure out the running joke :)

Two things I noticed a lot.

Goggles are a neccessity...for joke peacocking

    and

Matador is a gay PUA haha

ANYONE who thinks this show's exposure is going to ruin openers, negs, etc... is a RETARD.

    Let's do some math here...

Let's say this show is a huge hit and draws something like 2 million viewers (huge by VH1 standards).

How many will be men? Let's say 65%-75% (considering the male-oriented content). That leaves at most 600,000 women in the whole US. That's 600,000 out of 160 million girls! That's if the show's HUGE (unlikely).

That means that if EVERY woman watching learns ALL the openers/negs/DHV's quickly brushed over in the show, your odds of getting caught are 1 in 266!

Now, what are the odds of every woman watching the show actually making an effort to learn all the material?

Did I mention that some of my best sets have been when I've been caught using PU stuff? (My response: "I not only read "The Game", I just came from a pick-up boot camp!" which always gets a laugh).

By the way, it seems to me that TC has an axe to grind with Mystery. What's the matter? Jealous you're not in the VH1 crew? Mystery's goggles and peacock gear works 100% on him. You've seen it in the show and I've seen it in the clubs.

And TC is about 5 times harder on the contestants than Mystery and his crew.

I love the show (but I DO agree with your comments on the elimination process) and every aspiring PUA can use it before hitting the clubs to see what works and what doesn't and how to pull off the materials (can't wait for the contestants using negs, probably next episode).
