Great Community Quotes # 3

We're back with another quote that I can't use for one reason or another.

This one actually didn't happen with me in the room, but has been relayed to me by 2 people who were there.

Let's set the scene.

One instructor has been talking to another (more junior) instructor about how he doesn't believe the junior instructor gets "10s". A very evolved and important argument to having, if you're in fifth grade :)

The argument quickly gets heated as each side tries to defend their point and keep their "frames". It should also be noted that this was the first time these two guys had met. At the most heated part of the argument the lead instructor uttered this classic phrase.

" If I didn't have my inner game on right now, I would sock you."

I mean if I didn't have my inner game on right now, I'd probably drive a schoolbus of children of a cliff into an ocean. Lucky for them, I've been reading my Tolle lately so instead I'll just write a newsletter :)

I agree with the other thread.

    whats really needed is captain
    jack to make a video.

the guy sounds like he semi drifts
into retirement on a regular basis.

Sinn - get this man on video
    before its too late!

  8. Hilarious. And Sad at the same time.

But hey, if it wasn't for grown men with the mindset of toddlers, the Community (TM) wouldn't be nearly as huge as it is today.

As for Tolle, how's that going? I've seen him in interviews. He seems to be copping Buddhism pretty hard, right?

The notion of nothing clinging to the past, or the future, that's pure Buddhism..
