Nobody gives it you...

Every time I post about some new stuff I'm going to be rolling out, I get comments about how it should be free...

I've produced almost two years of super quality blog posts for free, I don't get paid to write this blog and it barely generates any money at all from affiliates. I do it because I try to give back as much as possible to the community. However I have also spent a great deal of time and money in developing my skillset. To this day I still pay for products produced by my friends.. I bought all the RSD products at full price as well as some of In10se's. There's nothing wrong with paying guys for the value they produce. If you don't have the money, that's cool. But to sit there and try to tell me I need to produce more stuff for free is silly. I have never claimed to be non-commercial. I love that I can make a living helping guys out, but I still need to make a living at it.

As a whole I think most guys in the community are looking for a handout. They don't want to put in the time or effort to get good, they want someone to hand them a magic pill. I see this every time I go on the various forums, as the majority of posts are asking for certain routines which can be found with a simple search. I remember when I first went on ASF a few years ago and I thought everyone was an asshole for typing the lovely acronym DAFS( Do a fucking search) but now I see why they did that. It's a certain type of thinking that drifts over to all areas of your life. You cannot get good at anything if you want other people to do things for you without reciprocating. In my case I need the money from bootcamps and products to fund my research. If I had to be at a desk 8 hours a day I couldn't read as many books or experiment as much in field and the quality of my material would suffer. There's a reason that all the new stuff in the community over the last few years ( breakthrough comfort, SNLs, etc..) has come from me. Because I work my ass off to stay ahead of what everyone else is teaching. Plus what I teach works... You have to figure out for yourselves how much being able to get the woman of your dreams is worth and if you're willing to pay that price be it monetary or time or other...

Neither myself nor Captain Jack have a Bentley or live an extravagant lifestyle. We want to help guys get better faster and to do that we need to give them more personal attention. Which takes time away from us making money in other ways. It also takes time away from my social life and cost me HBperfect back in Feb of last year... So You guys really need to understand that I'm not trying to make a quick buck off you guys, but I'm not running a charity either.

I think it's a good idea to stop looking for handouts and/or stealing material. I noticed that couple of people have bootlegged my shit and put it up on various sites... So not cool. I haven't stolen anyone's content ever, even though it seems easy to do. The point is CJ and myself produce value and we expect to be compensated in a fair way. If you can't afford our stuff or trainings then you have a couple of options. You can A: Save up and wait or B: Go out and try to figure stuff out for yourselves. But no amount of whining is going to result in my suddenly giving away all my stuff. You guys get enough for free and I think it's really ungrateful of everyone who writes in to complain about my very rare marketing on here.

I apologize if this came off harsh, but it's been on my mind for awhile.

  1. count me among those who are grateful for your blog... if i didn't learn pickup techniques, at least you have entertained me. so, thank you!

your blog is one of select few i check because you write directly and you don't come across as such a try-hard marketeer.

thanks for your free teleconference too! keep up your blog and good god man, be "thick face black heart" ignore those lamers! :)

Great blog and keep it up. Those that complain are going to be AFC's their who life and I'm not just talking about PU. They do not understand what the meaning of work is and are just looking for hand outs. These are the types of people who would never say that you don't give enough, to your face. Keep up the quality blog.

  3. Agreed, when you buy something it is appreciated so much more than when it acquired free or through other means. You have to really fight for what you want and that includes putting the money down, being in the field, or even writing goals down like you have said before. Being lazy and trying to take away value from someone by stealing their product simply wont get you anywhere. You have to give value as well in order to receive it!

-some newb who loves you and would like to attend your seminar some day

  5. No man!

You should totally do all the bootcamps for free and pay your own costs for flight and living. You should go out all the time so you can't have a job etc.

    Seriously, you should.

That will trigger you to learn how to make women pay to have sex with you

Then you can teach us to do the same - for free.

And once we have learned it, we'll all have money. Then you can start charging for your programs again.

Please please, cause i'm new to this game and my girlfriend dumped me.

(on a serious note: good blogpost. And please let me know if you found this comment fun =) )

No matter how many come across as bitter, 95% are genuinely grateful for the things you post.

I live in the UK and am currently unemployed so blog posts are a great way for me to keep learning theory, and keep me ticking over until i have enough money for a trip to N America i have planned for next year. This is when the bootcamp will happen, but until then these blogs are great and we all appreciate them!

I've been thinking about a thing for a while...

Namely, pretty much all of your last posts have had "i've been thinking about this for a while" written out somewhere in it :D

I'm a musician. I basically 'quit' when the newsgroups and limewire and torrent sites came out. NO amount of calling for higher ethical behavior will stop a majority of people from stealing music. My friends make NO money from cd sales. It's a loss leader, it's all about the merchandise. T-shirts, buttons etc.

I've thought long and hard about this issue. IF you have a couple of products I have a way to stem 5% of the piracy that would ensue, and I'll bet that's a conservative figure. I am as protective of my work ( intellectual property = time ) as you are and would ask you to sign a NDA.

So, do the math. Mystery's 5 dvd set has been downloaded how many times do you think? Let's say 20 000. Multiply that by the cost of the product $250( I think) That's 5,000,000 dollars. This times 5% ( my idea) garners $250 000. The cost of the idea is around $50 000. That's a site, replication, distribution, bla, bla, bla. I'd want a percentage of sales for a LIMITED amount of time. And then I'm out.

You are totally right, and i want to thank you for the effor and time you put in this blog

  10. This is solid, as usual.

Nothing but respect + props for the awesome work you do ... I still the self-directed evolution you're *creating* and it's awesome

    Thanks for all the wisdom.

  11. no free lunch bitches.

  12. oh and i forgot

    LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read this blog almost daily since its formative period and have gotten a lot out of it.

I admit, I'm not really interested in taking bootcamps or buying community products these days. I bought the original DYD ebooks, and the original Venusian Arts handbook and some Juggler stuff like two years ago.

What you post on here is completely upto you because it's your blog. I'd like to think that you'd continue to keep it real on here, and post only about the things you want to; and not cater to the dozens of comments you get under each entry.

The thing I really originally liked about this blog was the raw authenticity. It was just about whatever you wanted to post about at that moment. Not just *another* seduction blog

Hope you continue to do what you wanna do Sinn. Keep it real.

  14. I had nooo idea man!

I thought you guys had it all easy…. I guess some people in general will have the misconception that you guys have all the time in the world, and that you only work very hard during the seminars and bootcamps…..this of course is not true.

I unfortunately cannot make it to a bootcamp but I am doing whatever it takes to get good at this game and learn as much as I can.

I tend to learn something new from your high quality posts and I think it’s cool that you take the time off just to do it.

As David DeAngelo would say “The real magic of becoming a man is about becoming a man who helps other men develop and evolve… help individuate” (credit DD on being a man program)

p.s>> your video about “The most ganster kid ever” was hilaarious!!! It almost made me fall off my chair…… really does incorporate many elements of Tyler’s tactical approach on congruence tests.

the guys not knowing that certain things aren't for free, are the guys that will stay desperate and lonely all their lives.

thanks for all the time and effort you put into this over the last years, sinn!

i'm from germany and i really do appreciate your thoughts on life, music and picking up girls of course.

That's right boys... Listen to Sinn

  17. MikeNYC9:59 PM

hey if this is about my post in your other thing then yeah, you have a point. But i wasn't trying to come off as somebody who wants handouts. And I'm sure you weren't trying to come off as harsh.

  18. Anonymous9:30 PM

as being new to the game, i felt the need to play "catch up" and read previous blogs which is why this needed comment is "late"...i totally agree with this whole post and what you describe as being "harsh" at the end of the post, i would have called insightful...insightful for the scumbags who actually believe this should be a free service and for bootlegging any TMM information

Sinn, got nothin but respect for you man
