i met neil in toronto when i met mystery, it was just when Mystery started doing bootcamps. neil was following mystery around "infiltrating the secret society of pick up artists" Neil smelled $ from the start, PU was just another good book idea to exploit. Mystery thought he needed the exposure neil could give him for MM, but it was neil who made out much better, he is the original and still the number one marketer in PU. Neil parades as an author, but he has never been anything but a marketing script writer, who cares nothing about what he is writing about. whether its music, pick up, or survival skills, you would be best to avoid neil strauss and his books about them, find a real expert, not this carnival caller.

ReplyDeleteIt seems like Venusian arts business does not look great.Bad customer service and threat former student reputation.Think about how many MPUA do they have?They are too amateur business side.
Other company does better customer service,quick contact no-bad attitude,I mean this is something expected every other business though.I mean SOA run by single guru but I would say much more professional attitude to his business in good way.Yes,product quality is of course great too.Even if you see bad comment,it was when the company started.For three or four guru company Venusian arts run business horrible,really amateurish way.
Marketing is nothing wrong, if the quality of product quality is great.
I think Jon is straight shooter,he attacked Neil's integrity.

ReplyDeleteEben "David D" Pagan probably started it - pickup products were always just one arm of his marketing empire, and Strauss has never done anything original - but Powles is the asshole who brought in Kern and VH1. Since his book is the typical guy's on-ramp to the "community," it's important that they know what they're getting into. Jon may not be an impartial observer, but he's providing a service here.

I agree with you there are some rehashed information but without touched upon those information,you can't explain well.I mean old products skipped important parts.Jon filled these parts on this program.I think it was great break down of info to small chunk.It is easy to do plus you don't look creepy.

But this does not take away your point that now pure marketers make pickup products. (rj and deangelo had their own unique material being deep in this stuff.
pretty bullshit video, even from what you say it is clear that he wasn't the one who brought the marketers; you didn't prove anything, just mentioned the fact that he hired some marketing guy at some point; but where is the follow up ? how does this resulted in more marketing guys coming ? there is no connection; maybe this 1 marketerer told his marketer friends and that's how this happened ? no ? I don't think so, but at least that would be logical; but you showed NO connection between this 1 event and the follow up; improve your reasoning skills please :)
