I had to go out alone last night as I really felt like gaming and everyone else's vaginas were hurting...
One of the things I notice when I'm out alone, is I drink a lot less, I know I have to be more wary of things like logisitics and group dynamics. When I can't depend on a wing, I have to be a lot sharper.
Tonight I was supposed to meet up with annaFerris girl, but I blew her off because sheriff and some other instructors from across the pond ended up in Dallas tonight and I always look forward to seeing those guys.

I hear ya, going out alone is best done sober, or close to it. The heightened awareness that comes with being out-and-about alone, solely to pick up women is addicting.
ReplyDeleteJesse
Just wondering, when you go out alone, do you still feel a bit awkward when inbetween sets? Almost like 'hmm shall i walk around or stay here for 2 mins.. hang on i feel a bit weird here, i have to find a set quick'.. Or are you totally comfortable no matter what you are doing?
ReplyDeleteNo issues with sarging alone. I have done the same thing many a times. I hear you to about not drinking. You need to stay sharper that way when you open multiple sets including mixed sets you can easily remember info if you are going to join two sets or thread in information from one set to the next. I have to say that sarging alone has improved my game and its almost easier to sarge women flying solo. keep up the great posts. Any more insight involving social dynamics in your posts would be great.
ReplyDeleteI'd feel really fucking awkward going to bars and clubs alone, I don't mind it during the day... but at night, being alone in a bar or club is just so uncool, it's really just not worth it. Pick-up at night is best done with friends and a good wing-man
ReplyDeleteHow do you get comfortable? Do you just nurse a beer or two all night, a water, or a juice?
ReplyDeletethe bars locally on long island (NY) don't charge for diet cokes. Last night, i dropped 10 on cover charge and tipping, so that's a sweet deal.
ReplyDeleteit was a bit awkward though, I recently stopped drinking, and between no alcohol and flying solo for the first time, I was really nervous. But I know what I have to do, it's just doing it.
The key to going out alone is high energy.
ReplyDeleteIt's important to keep opening sets, so that first of all your social value doesn't drop and to keep your state up. If you do happen to be alone and can't find any sets, walk around as to give the impression that you're looking for your friends. And just open sets that cross your way.
But watch out to not get trapped in the walking-around-in-circles phase and not opening any sets as this can get you quite uncomfortable.
Good point.
ReplyDeleteSarging alone is a good thing. You don't have to wait for a particular day and venue. Literally you can switch off your computer now and start sarging.
