Today I donated all my stuff to Salvation Army, I'm leaving Dallas and will be doing a quick stop over with a friend, before heading on the 12 Cities in 12 Months Tour...
I'm a mix of emotions...
I'm excited that I'm starting a new life, I'm sad, I'm leaving behind friends that are both known to you readers (Captain Jack, Shaft) and known only through field reports (Lindsay, Nakia, Caroline, Morgan, and Lorna). I really loved my time in Dallas, but it's no longer right for me. The same way that Barrie was right for me at 18, Annie was right for me at 20, Meggan was right for me for two weeks. Dallas was right from 22-24. I'll always look back fondly on my time here and the things I learned about myself while I was here.
I learned how to get better at SNLS that's for sure and for that I have to thank CJ. Learning from him was the original reason I moved here. over 100 SNLs later, I think I got that :)
I learned that I could still fall for a person who's completely WRONG for me. Twice :)
I learned that I could move halfway across the country only knowing 4 people and flourish.
I started my own business while I was here...
My neighborhood was papered by a group of my female fans...
I met and seduced girls across the metroplex from Downtown at Mantis, to Addison at Sherlocks.
I learned a lot about Texans, they're an interesting bunch of people. If you've never been to Texas, I highly recommend it. It's like nowhere else I've been, that's for sure.
And the food still sucks 2 years later.
I don't know if I'll ever come back to Dallas, not because I won't want to. But because I don't need to. I've been there, done that. I spent a major portion of my cigarette smoking, heavy drinking early 20s in Dallas and maybe that's all anyone needs to know :)
I'll miss everyone from Dallas who reads my blog. Some of you I'll see again, some I won't. And that's OK.
Best,
S
Nobody cares!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Sinn...I have lived in a number of cities and each has their own set of memories...on to new adventures! Your a great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I find this very inspirational.
ReplyDeletedude, you got a place to crash in Jersey if needed
ReplyDeleteJustin10Berlake

Glad to hear you so appreciative of this past chapter of your life! Looking forward to reading about what happens next.
ReplyDeleteyou know what would have been ballsy and moxilicious.....if you would have done the 12 cities tour in 12 cities you've never been before. this sounds interesting too, but you know those places and that's a little advantage.
ReplyDeletebut...you're a young guy. you can do this later on after the first tour has become a great success and your book about it is on the ny times bestseller list.

Good idea...people get comfortable in one spot, and to keep growing/evolving you've got to travel the world. I've experienced what Houston has to offer and will be taking off in 2 months as well.
ReplyDeletehave fun dude..
ReplyDeletehere's a Jorden ad..

I understand what you're going through and your mixed emotions. I myself have moved homes more times than I have ever imagined. It's a strange feeling when you realise that you have to make a move - I always feel it like a destiny call.
ReplyDeleteI've found out that to avoid any emotional pulls backwards, I had to say good bye not only to my friends but also to all the places that I liked going to. Only then, was I able to move on with a clear head.
Good luck!
Dude,
ReplyDeleteWell, good luck to you. You've made so many friends here in Dallas and across the seduction community that you'll probably be rich by the time you're CJ's age.
Dallas will miss you. You're probably one of the most underrated and under-appreciated PUA's in The Game. Even Mystery will be saying "Hey I knew that guy" one of these days.
The way is clear. Just keep doing what you're doing and you won't go wrong.
The sky is the limit! Giant Ponzi Schemes, your own reality TV Show, crappy ebooks (oh sorry).
Good luck to ya.
Maybe your Jewish ass will find Jesus!
Sinnster,
ReplyDeleteYou inspired me. It seems so liberating to unload a bunch of possessions. I'm going to set aside a weekend to do nothing but go through closets and clear old stuff out ... to open up space, liberate myself, and make room for new adventures that I can feel are coming soon :-)
cheers,
Erika
Good luck man.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with it.
