Greg was playing dirty. All the Jazz walked off the floor and let it happen. Shaq basically just slapped him to the ground and yelled at him. Told him to stay down, and no more dirty play.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened to Kobe. Truth is, Shaq would probably really fuck Kobe up...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36873781.post-81832276782690140842008-07-16T08:50:00.000-07:002008-07-16T08:50:00.000-07:00I'll preface this by stating that I'm a big Kobe B...I'll preface this by stating that I'm a big Kobe Bryant fan. That being said, this post is kind of lame.

While I agree that Kobe is everything you said he was: selfish, and a bad teammate. I think that he really changed this season and became not just a better player, but hopefully a better person.

In fact, instead of bashing Kobe, I think you should use point to him as an example of what's possible when you put a great deal of effort into changing.

In the position you're in, you sell people the idea and the belief that anyone can meaningfully change who they are.

Instead of harping on what he did 2 to 3 years, why don't we acknowledge how far he has come. As someone who has publicly stated how much he's changed over the past year, I'm sure you can empathize with how it is when people judge you based off of who you were then, instead of who you are now.

Kobe handled this the right way. He didn't make a big deal out of it, and he moved on. Why is Shaq still quibbling about this 3 years after the fact. In my opinion, Shaq is just as bad as Kobe was. When he left the Lakers, he threw the owner, the coach, and his teammates under the bus. He did the same thing when he left the Heat. But he's goofy enough that people give him a pass.

Yeah, what Kobe did 3 years ago was kind of lame, but not move past it, and recognize he's a better person now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
